About

Your Local Naturopath

I’m Natasha Evans (BHSc) and I’m passionate about great health, delicious food and helping people to live a long and fulfilled life!

I qualified as a Naturopath in 2008 following completion of a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) degree at the Southern School of Natural Therapies, one of Australia’s leading Natural Medicine institutions. I am also a qualified natural fertility educator. I am a registered member of ANTA, the Australian Natural Therapists Association.

I've lived locally here in Bacchus Marsh for over 20 years and have been practicing as a Naturopath for over 15 years. I love living and working in this vibrant and growing community. I also volunteer to several community groups.

I love to be constantly learning; my approach to healing continually evolves as I incorporate new research into my treatment plans.

Naturopathy

Naturopathy is a holistic approach to wellness based on the principle that the body has the inherent ability to heal itself. Using the healing power of nature and gentle therapeutic techniques, the body, mind and emotions are supported during the healing process.

Naturopathic principles are based on treating each person as an individual and treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

Naturopathy can be used in addition to other treatments from GPs, specialists and mental health practitioners to enhance results and improve the quality of life for the patient.

How Can I Help You?

Naturopathy can be utilised to help manage or resolve a very broad range of conditions such as colds and flus, skin problems, cancer, allergic conditions (eczema, hay fever, food intolerances, chronic sinus), poor immunity and general well-being.

Naturopathy can treat and support metabolic disorders such as thyroid issues, diabetes, heart/cardiovascular disease (high or low blood pressure, poor circulation, high cholesterol), fatigue, muscle aches and pains.  Naturopathy can also support patients undergoing GP and specialist treatments.

I can work with you to help with any of those health issues. If you're wondering whether naturopathy can help you, it likely can - you're welcome to call me and we can talk through your concerns and possible naturopathic options.

About

Consultations

Please note: Consultations are by prior-appointment only. I do not offer walk-in consultations. Thank you!

An initial consultation is 90 minutes long, during which we will work through several activities;

  • A full exploration of any presenting conditions, identifying which are most important for the patient

  • Explanation in “layman’s terms” of any health issues to enable the patient to understand why the body has an altered function and what can be done to reduce or resolve the issues

  • Development of a treatment plan, including dispensing of any medicines or supplements. We'll then schedule a return visit to review your progress

A return consultation lasts for 45 minutes, and your progress and any changes in how you feel will be evaluated. Your treatment plan will be adjusted as necessary.

I usually conduct consultations in person, but can conduct them by phone, or online using Zoom or Skype, should you prefer.
